It’s an exciting time for the Firefly brand as we branch out and
introduce Firefly Vision (FV) to the world. FV will encompass
feature films, music videos and documentaries. Whether it be an
intense drama set around the seedy underworld of sex trafficking in
Thailand, or a documentary about the correlation between humans and
the wolves of Northern Spain, FV will deliver hard hitting messages
about the world we live in as well as telling untold stories from
across the globe.
FV aims to be groundbreaking in the cinema it makes; if audiences
are shocked, compelled or inspired then FV has achieved its aim. FV
wants to inspire thought and debate -- there needs to be a purpose
in everything we make. We are always searching for new talent to
inspire us with stories and welcome the fresh creative know-how to
develop and achieve our projects. By late 2010, it would be great
to have shot our first feature, have 2 docos in the can and be
looking at pre-production on another feature project. However,
thorough development is key as is an appropriate specification and
in order to achieve our key objective – stories with a purpose.
Ideally we are looking to achieve each of our projects within a
budget of around £3m.
We are excited by what FV’s future may hold and by what it will
take in order to make a name for Firefly Vision and its projects;
and on this journey, let’s find the new Walter Salles or Gus Van
Sant...
